A mismatch between versions
An ingredient list copied from an earlier formula, outdated warnings or a product name that differs across files can create avoidable confusion. Collect the current formula and every pack component before requesting a review.
An unclear territorial scope
A label for one market is not automatically suitable for another. Identify the countries, languages and relevant Responsible Person details in the brief. Review outer packaging and the container together.
A claim that goes beyond the evidence
Check whether evidence concerns the finished product or only an ingredient, and whether the wording matches the measured outcome. Consumer perception, instrumental results and laboratory findings support different types of statements.
Changes after the review
Keep a record of the reviewed artwork. If design, wording or formula changes later, check whether a further review is needed before printing. Include product-page and marketplace wording in the scope when appropriate.
Official references
Requirements depend on the product and market. Use current rules and product-specific evidence when making compliance decisions.
